The new Katshiunga Gallery will open on the 3rd January 2026, in the heart of Leopoldstraat, Antwerp. A new space, designed as an atypical and participatory art gallery, where portraits and life stories take center stage.
My artistic work has always been driven by a desire to tell stories.
Stories of faces we don't always look at, of journeys marked by memory, dignity, and sometimes silence. This gallery is a natural extension of that approach.

With this new space, I wanted to create a place that is not limited to exhibiting works, but also functions as a space for work, research, and collaboration.
A place where emerging artists can be showcased, exhibit their work, and participate in collective projects focused on portraiture and humanity.
The gallery will also welcome everyday people, invited to share their stories through an artistic process. Art then becomes a tool for making real stories, often unheard, visible.
You will also discover my own works there a body of work in black and white, mainly on wood, which for years have sought to reveal the humanity present in every face.
But this gallery is not intended to be static.
It was designed to be a living and collaborative space.
It is in this spirit that I will soon be organizing artistic workshops, open to artists, curious minds, and anyone who wants to express themselves in a different way. These will be moments of creation and sharing, where art becomes a means of dialogue.

For me, this opening marks a new stage, but above all a return to the essentials:
art that gives time, space, and room to people.
